Pottery Date Night FAQ

What’s covered in a pottery date night class?

We have 3 pottery sessions you can try: In our standard taster session you’ll throw a pot on the potter’s wheel and get creative hand-building too, giving you a sample of both ends of the pottery making spectrum. Then we also have a throwing only taster session where you’ll spend the whole session on the wheel. Finally you can build your own pottery mug for your morning brew. Each session is a creative experience on it’s own meaning you can come back to try another. We’ll be introducing further types of sessions so do sign up to our mailing list to keep in the loop/

Who are your pottery sessions for?

These pottery sessions in Manchester are perfect for your pottery date night, whether you are on a first date, a few dates in or you’ve been together for many years, then a pottery date is really going to impress your partner. Especially if they’ve always wanted to try it and are a great fan of the Great Pottery Throw Down TV show.

How often do you list your pottery date night session in Manchester?

We list these sessions suitable for a one-off pottery date 2-3 months in advance. If they’re sold out sign up to our mailing list for notification of when they’re next available to book.

Can I take the pots home after the class or when can I collect them?

After the class we need to wait for the pots to dry, twice fire them, and clear glaze them, which can take anywhere between 3-6 weeks. We’ll email you when they’re ready to collect and times we’re in available for collection.

What should I bring/wear to your pottery class?

Be ready to get a little messy. Bring an open mind, some positive energy, have shorts nails and wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty.
