Sam (pictured) will be exhibiting this year as part of the Craft Council’s hothouse section, a talent program he was selected for 2 years ago. Ann Davies will also be exhibiting her new work for the first time. The show is on at Upper Campfield Market opposite the Hilton on deansgate.

BBC Axe Pottery Throw Down Show, change their mind by signing the petition

The BBC have decided to axe the Great Pottery Throwdown, rumours say it’s due to them losing the contract for the Great British Bake-off whose makers, Love productions, made both programs. A petition was launched via change.org by BBC viewer Roger Barsby to: ‘Make the BBC rethink their decision to axe the Great Pottery Throwdown’. ROger says the show “was the most popular programme on BBC2, overtaking Top Gear.” If you’d like the program back, as we would too, then show your support by signing this petition HERE
