Team Building and Pottery Parties
We have offered private pottery classes and pottery parties in Manchester for decades. A pottery workshop is a great way to get inspired and feel creative, even for those who don’t feel like they are creative people. They work very well for corporate team building activities, birthdays, hen parties, networking, corporate events or just a fun and creative group activity with friends. We can tailor a class for your group working on specific making techniques or projects, or you can take our classic taster class that gives you both wheel throwing and hand-building, the best of both worlds.
A Tailored Pottery Class
We can tailor the pottery workshop to your needs, varying the techniques and activities, make the class more social for networking, or more in depth focusing solely on the potter’s wheel. For example a hen party could make cups for each wedding guest and use a selection of our beautiful glazes, or you can BYOB and chat along while watching the group engage in a throwing challenge.
How much does it cost?
Prices will vary by group size and activity, however at the lower end for a hand-building workshop prices start from £40 per person. We can take 4-18 people for a throwing only workshop and we can now accommodate larger groups for a hand-building class. If you have less than 4 people we’d recommend book one of our planned pottery taster classes.
Take our Classic Private Pottery Class
We will take you through the process of pottery wheel throwing, and creatively hand-building in simple and easy to understand steps, in our standard pottery class. We can accommodate up 20 people and the workshop generally lasts around 2.5 to 3 hours, which you’ll find flies by, the time of the workshop increases with more people. Each person takes away 2 items from the workshop, which are twice fired ready for collection a few week’s later.
How much does it cost?
Our standard pottery workshop starts from £432 for up to 8 people, and is £54 per head for each additional person. If you have less than 8 people we’d recommend booking into one of our planned pottery taster classes.
