In a pottery team-building workshop you’ll try your hand at hand-building with clay or wheel throwing with mud (or both!).
As we’ve been running for over 25 years, we have offered pottery corporate team building workshops in Manchester for decades to many groups including architect groups, Manchester University Departments and solicitors.
Don’t feel like you’re a creative person? Our pottery workshops are designed for complete novices to learn the processes in a supportive and welcoming environment. It’s fun, relaxing and challenging, helping get your team out their comfort zone, leaving them feeling happy and inspired.
Pottery Team-Building Workshop Options
We offer 3 main options for a team-building workshops:
- Wheel throwing Workshop: Everyone spends the whole session on the potter’s wheel, learning the intricacies and fine motor skills required to manipulate clay through your fingers, while it spins. You also have the option of coming back for an additional session to come and glaze your creations yourself to complete the cycle.
- Wheel throwing and hand-building: Your team will all throw a pot on the wheel and also creatively hand-build too, giving the best of both worlds.
- Hand-build a mug: Here you’ll create your breakfast tea or coffee mug, but you could also make a pair of espresso cups, a vase, planter or pen pot. You’ll also paint your creations, giving opportunity for personal expression and creativity.
Tailored Pottery Team-Building Workshop
The options above satisfy most groups, however there are many alternative workshops, as versatile as the material clay is itself, we can run with you if you have an idea in mind. Your team could come to learn mould making to create architectural tiles, create plates for your office’s kitchen, or we could arrange a larger networking event, giving the chance for more in-depth conversations, where people take turns to engage in a light-hearted throwing challenge.

How to Book a Team Building Pottery Workshop In Manchester
Get in touch with us with some prospective date requests. We’re located 10 minutes walk to Piccadilly station, just outside the ring road so there’s easy access by car, and free street parking.
