Description
A 6 week beginner course covering the basics of pottery. You’ll learn practical and traditional pottery techniques. All our courses include hand-building and throwing tuition catered to your skill level. NB: The class will focus on slabbing, throwing bowls, turning, slip decoration and glazing.
We run 18 weeks of beginner courses covering different making techniques. These are divided into 6 week blocks so you can try a course without committing to the full 18 weeks. Our open ended regular classes run after completion of the beginner courses.
This class will be in our new studio 85 Northwestern Street, M12 6DY. There will be a 2 weeks break for Christmas and New Year, with the class dates on 12th, 19th Dec, and 9th 16th, 23rd and 30th Jan.
- We recommend short nails and wearing clothes you don’t mind getting dirty (aprons provided). Classes includes a 10 minute clean-up.
- Materials charged at £1.80 per lb when collecting finished work.
