Seven Limes Pottery (“7LP”) is a pottery teaching studio and shared working space located in Moss-Side, Whalley Range, & Hulme in Manchester. Seven Limes Pottery is the trading name of Seven Limes Pottery Ltd (14893562) located at it’s registered address at Unit 5, The Windrush Millenium Centre, 70 Alexandra Road, Manchester, M16 7WD. We teach traditional craft pottery skills to a high standard in classes and workshops to the general public and by offering shared work space to practice, develop and design. For many years 7LP has taught thousands of individuals.

We are committed to respecting and protecting any personal data you share with us, or that we collect. We aim to be clear when we collect your data and about what we will do with it.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Keeping personal data helps us keep in contact with our customers, to fulfil courses and workshops that have been bought and to arrange the picking up of work made. We also use it to inform past customers and prospective customers of the services we’re offering. In some cases we look at the statistics provided to us by Google Analytics and Stripe to help us build a better understanding of our customers to develop our service for the better. We will keep data from people currently enrolled on courses, people enrolled in the past and from any person enquiring about our courses.

Information is collected under the following circumstances:

  • Booking courses/workshops online, in person or over the phone.
  • Subscribing to the 7LP mailing list.
  • Through personal contact with a staff member.
  • From publicly available sources (such as if you interact with us on social media).

When you enroll on a course/workshop, we may add your email to our mailing list as this is how we sometimes keep in contact with customers about future courses and events instead of emailing them each directly. We have legitimate interests for this until you let us know you’re not interested in our services anymore. You will be offered the opportunity to opt-out every time we communicate in this way.

Under the terms of the GDPR the lawful bases for processing personal information are:

  • we need it to fulfil a contract (e.g. a course/workshop booking);

Information is collected usually through our website for and by our teachers/director. Sometimes information is added manually to this data.

Currently we only use your data within 7LP between staff. We don’t have any reason to share your data with third parties, but would ask permission if an occasion were to arise should we wish to.

Information is retained for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it is required.

You have the right to ask us to amend or stop using your personal information, including for marketing purposes, at any time.
